Two 2MB 30 pin SIMMs - uncool or cool?

So, my childhood Mac LC had 2MB SIMMs and I finally upgraded it to the max memory config from 6MB to 10MB. (Upgraded the VRAM while I was at it) - just great.

But given the rarity of 2MB SIMMs (for example instead of the popular 1 or 4MB sizes), should I trade to someone who might actually care about these weird ones?

2MB SIMMs can’t be used on hardly any other Macs, I’d keep them spare. Have a handful of 2MB SIMMs in my box of crap that I can’t find a home for, PC or otherwise!

I’ve bought several 2MB SIMMs for the LC2 because they’re usually cheaper than 4MB ones and the LC2 has 4 already on board (so it gives 8MB instead of 10 and “wasting” 2MB). Otherwise they serve little purpose.

I'm restoring two LCIIs and found four working 2MB SIMMs for cheap. Just enough to max them both out.

Sort of odd that the only way to max out the LC memory is to waste two whole megabytes.

I read somewhere there's a PDS accelerator board that moves the RAM onto the PDS card and can lift that limit, but I need to track it down and find out whether it's an internet myth or not.

I need more sleep. Apologizing for my last post, which makes little sense.

I do use 2MB SIMMS in my Mac LC restores; they give enough 'headroom' as I get the software installed. They are handy, yes.

What I brain-farted about was my recent find of a trove of 4MB SIMMs, which for some reason drove my mind off the road and started me talking about using 4MB SIMMs to max out the LC memory, which I try to do after a restored system tests out and is complete. I blame long hours this and last week.
