Awesome! Will this speed-up make sense on a Macintosh SE as well?

EDIT: "System 6 includes QuickerGraf (originally QuickerDraw), system software used to accelerate the drawing of color images on the Macintosh II."
I guess not.

Yeah, really only makes sense on color Macs running pre-6.0. Which I think means....just the II!

Very cool (for historical purposes), where did you find it?

That circular rainbow gradient is so “look it’s 1987 and I have a Mac II”.

I found the program on the diskettes of system 6 utilities, which belonged to the first seller of apple equipment in our country and tried to make the first translation as well

I love disks packed with random utilities. I have a huge stack of BMUG floppy disks, but they're all bad. :( Bunch of mold all over the disks that destroyed the magnetic coating. I was really looking forward to archiving all the disks and rediscovering early Macintosh shareware that's probably extinct by now.

Surely other copies of these disks still exist – intact and undamaged – somewhere?

But yeah, when they're the only copies you're able to find and they're all bad, it stinks.
