Wow, this week has been pretty good so far, conquest-wise.

Last night I picked up a few gems from a collector who is moving interstate.

Highlights were:

A working Mac SE with an Apple carry bag!! It's awesome. Even has a little removable Apple pouch for floppy discs and another for the keyboard!

Powerbook 190cs in an Apple carry bag. Bit of a rough case but I'd love to get this one fixed up eventually as it's my favourite model.

A boxed Newton 110 with box/accessories. I don't really collect Newtons but it will be cool next to my only other newton (120).

Flower Power iMac (however it is missing its spec sticker off the bottom)??

Oh and ALL of this which I have NO idea what I'm going to do with!!! 90% was from this same bloke - part of the usual deal, must take the lot... :O

2x Grape iMac DV 400

2x Blueberry iMac 350

2x Indigo iMac 400

Indigo iMac 450

Snow iMac 600

Snow iMac 700

Graphite iMac DV SE 400 (in box/packaging)

Grape iMac tray-load

Strawberry iMac tray-load

G3 B&W tower

4x G4 Graphite tower

3x G4 Quicksilver tower

2x G4 MDD tower

2x iMac G4 15"

iMac G4 17" with Apple speakers

4x 17" ADC LCD's

2x 17" ADC CRT's

PowerBook G3, Bronze Keyboard

iBook G3 Indigo (remains)

box of iMac G3 logic boards

box of Apple USB keyboards/mice

4x Apple Airport base stations (one boxed)

Apple iMac G4 speakers (boxed)

3x eMacs - one with swivel stand

I certainly get caught-up in the moment but I really wanted that FP iMac and the SE so had to take the rest! I will have to part-out, sell or donate a lot of this stuff. I can't keep it ALL.

Omg great find. Good going. I'm sure it's too much to send to the states but the strawberry iMac and an MDD that works from out of the country would be pretty slick for me. Let me know if they have cheap shipping.

That i call an conquest, wow! You had a truck to move around all those iMac's? Those babies take space.

Very cool, very cool

which I have NO idea what I'm going to do with!!!
Hmmm... Pick a machine or two for yourself that you like, trick them out to the max with parts from the others, keep a spare parts machine for each. Ebay the rest. Just my thoughts.

Nice Work! Wish i would stumble upon an apple midi interface! Might have to start actively looking for one.

Did you lick that grape iMac? I got one this week as well, off the side of the road, mint shape.

very nice finds!

Here's how to tell which B&W tower you have:

The CMD chip on Rev. 1 logic boards is PCI646U2 and on Rev. 2 logic boards is 646U2-402. To find the location of the CMD chip on the logic board, get a flashlight in shine it on the chip near the left rear of the motherboard as you face the open case. I just look for the hyphen in the number. If you have a hyphen you are on a rev. 2 motherboard.

Thanks for the info ^^^

I'll have a closer look at my B&W as I'm interested...

Today I picked up a few more items. Nothing overly interesting but I was after a 233 iMac and an ImageWriter II to repair mine.

iMac 233 Bondi

PM 7200/90

LC1

Apple Color Display

ImageWriter II

And I'm NOT picking up ANYTHING else!!! I can't!!!

It's all scattered about... Some in the shed, some in the cupboard in the study and some in the family room (EEK)!

However, currently there's some in my LOUNGE ROOM much to my partner (and my) disgust. It's just out of hand at the moment hence the vow to STOP.

Is the RAM on offer? I might take some of it, or a serial cable?
