I can believe two might do something; ten feels like wishful thinking to me. I certainly have machines (not Macs) where you have to reset twice to really clear out important bits of RAM (and that's easily verifiable, not just wishful thinking). Any more than two feels unlikely, and in the realm of "just throw random stuff at it, see what happens".
And yes, @jeremywork — my TAM folio keyboard won't reliably reset NVRAM at all. Why? Who knows. I just plug another keyboard in when I need to...
