Favour to Ask of a TiBook or iBook Owner

Does anyone have a TiBook or iBook with Radeon Mobility Graphics? Could you run a program to save the ROM from the card and send me the resulting file?

Transferring files aside (you have a better idea of your setup), it should only take 5 minutes.

I'm trying to hack a PC video card into working and can't find a Mac Radeon Mobility ROM online :)

I think I specifically need a 2002 iBook, or a NON-DVI TiBook 667 to 800MHz.

Looks like you mean 550-667
Cheers, you're right, sorry. Someone else said the other. I'm not very knowledgeable on the G4 era. I only ever owned a Mac Mini (and know what GPU that had).

I'll double check the iBook too

iBook would be the "Mid 2002", AKA the M8600, M8602 or the M8603. They're 600 or 700MHz.

I have a Ti book 1ghz, it has a Radeon 9700 64MB video.
Hey, thanks for responding, but be aware that by "Radeon Mobility" I mean a specific chip, not the general family of chips. It's the "mobility" version of the Radeon 7000.

Sadly I hit issues in that it looks like the ROM isn't stored in the usual way, so I'll need to learn more to work out how to get a copy. Beyond me at this moment in time.
