A few Apple IIgs items. AE GS-RAM Plus with 1MB of RAM currently installed, Apple A2M6016 monochrome monitor with its cables, Apple A9M0107 5.25 drive, and a ReActive Micro 2 AAA battery adapter to replace the clipped BRAM battery.

Another G4 DA... This one, a 466MHz machine, like what my last DA was when I bought it. Currently has two Maxtor drives, a 30GB and an 80GB. Going to replace the 30 with the 120 from the B&W I sold last summer. Has 768MB RAM, which will be bumped up to 1.5GB. Also swapping in the Adaptec SCSI card and the Linksys Wireless-G PCI card.

Planning a visit to the Seattle RE-PC store later today for an iMac keyboard and to exchange the 4GB SO-DIMM I bought for my MBP for the correct speed version.

Thursday afternoon, got the RAM swapped out and came home with an Apple Pro Keyboard (the version with the black keycaps).

Received an Apple II High Speed SCSI card from @Bama in the mail Friday... Seems to be functioning normally.

Yesterday, picked up the G4 DA and installed the items I saved from the B&W G3 that I sold to @CC_333 last summer.

About to bring home a M8149 Apple Cinema Display to replace the Dell 19" LCD monitor I've been using since 2013 on various Macs.

'tis home. Works pretty nicely. Last time I had something this big was when I had the old Mitsubishi 22" CRT monitor hooked up to my previous G4 DA. That one was deeper, of course.

I'm planning a visit to RE-PC on Tuesday with an old coworker. Never been before. How is their pricing?

Depending on the timing, I might wind up being there myself on Tuesday. Pricing, as was mentioned in the PM, can be all over the place.

Scored an A9M0106 for $22.50, plus shipping and tax. Is the later style with the extended strain relief on the DB-19 connector.

Received the A9M0106. Works fine, except the eject button is dead. So, may have to pop it open and see if the connector came loose, or if I need to swap the electronics from the drive that started smoking. Also possible that the eject motor is dead, too.

Also picked up another one of these:

Yup, another SE SuperDrive. This one has the Astec power supply and needs a programmer's switch assembly added to it. Probably will do the same dual FDHD swap I did on the last one, but with two working MP-F75W drives, instead of one that worked and one that just chattered when it was connected.

Picked up three new PRAM batteries... The meowTOAST adapter is nice, but can be kinda fiddly to get into the battery clip. So, dropped by RE-PC and bought three of the Xeno XL-050F batteries. $9.92 with tax... Popped one into the G4 to replace the Tadiran I stole from that computer for the SE as a temporary measure.

The only thing I almost purchased when I visited was a broken (caps needed replaced) video card expansion board

Previous IIgs has returned to the fold. Also conquested three TiBooks, a G5, and a couple monitors from @CharlesT earlier today. Keeping the fastest TiBook for myself, then passing the remainder onto one of the TinkerDifferent members who picked up a 20" 1st gen Cinema Display for me.

Traded the other items for the aforementioned Cinema Display. So far, unlike my old 22" version, I've yet to see the white LED of death. It did come with the ADC to DVI adapter and a DVI to mini displayport adapter.

Added a late 2011 A1286 MBP a couple days ago. Seems to be fine, GPU-wise, for now. Much better machine than the mid-2010 I've been using. Still need to move the anti-glare LCD panel over, though. Will be installing the newer battery at the same time, since the current battery never seems to get above 99%, charge-wise.

Picked up an iPhone 8 64GB to replace my 6s, which finally is to the point where I can't unlock it with my passcode, after it fell off the bathroom sink yesterday and wound up face down on a hardwood floor. Had lots of fun trying to restore the backup from last April onto the 8. Apparently, there was a MDM lock applied, which prevented me from even trying to access the phone via iTunes. Decided to boot the phone in recovery mode. Figured might as well just restore it to factory settings. Kept getting an error 10 message in iTunes on the MBP. So, used my father's HP laptop, which is running Win 10. Reinstalled iTunes on it, launched the program, then connected the phone in recovery mode. Successfully nuked and repaved the phone and was able to start setting it up.

Still having issues with trying to connect to the MBP. Now, it at least tries to talk with the computer, but the computer says that it doesn't have permissions, due to an older mobile device driver. Seems to be a common problem on machines with 10.11, 10.12, or 10.13 installed. Guess the solution is a couple files from the Xcode 14.3.1 xip file being installed on those machines that won't fully communicate with an iPhone running iOS 15 or 16.

^Tried using the hard drive that was originally installed in the MBP. Worked perfectly with the phone, so I was able to restore my data to it.

Anyway, today, picked up a couple G4 MDD machines. A dual 1.25GHz FW400 machine with a Radeon 9000 Pro, and a single 1GHz FW800 machine with a GeForce 4MX video card. The former, I've kept. Partly because the Radeon 9000 works fine in my G4 DA, and partly because it is a machine that doesn't need to have a patched OS 9.2.2 install to boot into OS 9. I will get the fans replaced and swap to an ATX power suppy, since I really have zero desire of hearing what sounds like a Shop-Vac sucking up a 500 lb metal anvil when I'm using the computer. It'll mainly be a backup bridge machine, with the DA's 80GB drive, which has 10.3.9 installed.

Guess I nuked and repaved the 80GB drive. So, will need to reinstall an OS on it. Anyway, MDD seems much quieter than what I remember my old one being, even when first started up. Still has the original AcBel power supply in it.
