Soldering success

Not apple but Atari related, but a conquest, at least for me. It may give additional motivation to attempt (again) a reconstruction of the LCD ribbon for a 180c.

Anyway...aside from the center ground of the FPGA (which I couldn't see but assumed I melted with a heat gun), this was all soldered by hand, closely inspected with magnifying glasses and bridges removed with braid and flux and iron.

I have a torn video cable and an even older partially torn ribbon cable from an old PC/XT hard drive, both of which I have been holding off on doing for a couple of years now. I just need to take a page out of your book and start working up to it with similar difficult projects. Nice job, and very impressive.
