Oh god, what did I do?!

So I had my Power Mac 9500 all ready, and was going to install OS 9 on it. I remembered that I had the Sonnet G3 card in it, and since I was reformatting the drive and would lose the extenstions, I put the original 604 processor board. Well, when I turned it on, it only came on for a split second, then shut off. It kept doing that. I put the Sonnet back in, and it turned on, but no chime and no video! 8-o

What did I do, and can it be saved??? [V] 8-o

Press the CUDA reset button on the motherboard.

Or just unplug the CPU card, disconnect the PSU connector from the motherboard, remove the PRAM battery, and press and briefly hold in the front power button on the 9500. That will reset the motherboard.

It's unlikely you've permanently damaged anything.
