Missing Macintosh logo

Hello--

So today when I went to use my quadra at my school, I looked at the front of it, and someone had pried the rainbow apple logo right of the front of my computer!

Boy when I saw that I was furious. I requested the 4hr 30mn segment between when I used it last, and when I saw it at the end of the day. I saw that someone did pry it off, and it didn't fall off because there were gouges around the apple mark that matched a very small screw driver that I had sitting near my computer. I have a feeling that I am not going to be able to see the perpetrator in the video because the camera isn't very close to the computer, and is hard to see due to the type of lights used in the room. I was wondering if there was someone or somewhere I could possibly get another logo for my computer... Any information would be much appreciated.

They were never even sold as a service part, they were always just distributed as a part of the case. Your best bet is to steal one from a broken/crappy case part of another Mac.

Now you know why macs in an education environment are always the macs found in the worst condition.

I recommend leaving a nasty note on the mac from now on.

Are you referring to the logo or the computer case? If you are referring to the logo, I think I have a lead on a bigger one on another forum. However, I did have to pull the logo off of my adjustable keyboard because someone had also tore the logo off of the powerbook 150 that I was using as a backup in case my quadra 950 died while working on my project. (Oh, just a side note, the power book belongs to the Superintendent of the school I go to.) So, if you do have a spare and do live in the USA, let me know, and I will PM you with more details. I'm glad to see that people are still willing to help with things as little as this!

Little metal Apple logo. I pulled a few them from some Macs that were being surplussed. They wouldn't let me take the computers, so I took the little Apples.

Hey if you guys have spare logos, maybe you could help me out. I'm looking for an indigo iBook clamshell logo for the front of my iBook. It's missing the leaf and I can't seem to find anyone that has one. I posted in the iBook forum and no one had any. You fine sirs have any?
