Anyone have the Mac software for a Cisco Aironet 340 PCMCIA wireless card? I want to use it with my newly acquired Powerbook 1400cs. This page tells me to go to "http://www.cisco.com/pcgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/aironet-utils-mac." but it just redirects me to the normal software download page.

If memory serves, you need to create an account on CISCO's server. That, or try to find a copy of the software somewhere else on the net.

Hi,

Yes i have got the software, was almost impossible to locate.

To be honest, never worked for me, card was detected and software was up and running... but was never able to connect to anything (i have the "Radio not found" error message)

Send me a message, i will send you the soft...but i think the Orinoco is a better choice (worked well in my 5300)

Funny, I used to love my Aironet. I used to use one with my WallStreet. IIRC, it was the only card with drivers for both Classic and OS X (besides a real Airport card).

Yea well I cant get the card to work in either OS. So oh well. Works great in windows. Maybe it was one of those cards where they changed the processor chip mid-production like others. V1, v2, etc..
