Indigo iBook

Got my Indigo iBook (366 MHz PowerPC G3, Firewire) today. In fact, my first "clamshell" iBook.

To my surprise, it came with AirPort card (802.11b) installed, the seller did not mention that.

320 MB RAM.

Comes with Yo-yo power adaptor. Somehow, it must be connected to work.

I might post a photo in a day or two.

Nice! If I could get the Tangerine and Lime versions, collecting the rest for a Yummy! wall display would be excellent, but just the Graphite model will do.

I love those indigos! I always thought that an Indigo or a blueberry would compliment a Tangerine.

It's pretty clean actually.

Very nice piece. I was lucky enough to score an original in the box with an AirPort Base Station, extra battery and adapter. I love the clamshells. I'd love to get one of the graphites too.

I like the milky-white of the Indigos and Key Limes as opposed to the corn syrup clear of the Blueberries and Tangerines.

The Tangerine I got from Anonymous Freak has all the boxes. My Indigo was cheap but missing the CD door. Cosmo helped me out there.

Nice score with the Indigo iBook.

I've had thoughts of collecting the set... But it seems they're hard to find for bargain prices!

I have a Graphite 300 and a Keylime 366 personally. I LOVE the keylime, my favourite by far.

There's a graphite in the box on ebay right now, but the guy's charging $775 for it. That's a sin.
And it's not new. Not even at his discounted price ($658.75) for a 13 years old laptop.

Yeh, the current prices on eBay now are crazy. I scored my iBook, AirPort base station, extra battery, extra charger all in the original boxes with an extra 128M stick of RAM and a bonus "iBook for Dummies" all for $150. It seems nowadays anyone with an iPad is a fanboy. They dig their Dad's old Apple junk out of the closet and figure they can get rich off it.

It amazes the amount of people that post old machines on eBay with the disclaimer, "I know nothing about this. Sold as is". Half of them probably found them at a garage sale for $20 bucks and then turned around and threw them on eBay for $400 because it's an Apple product and they can get rich off it.

That was a very good deal, krye.

I feel that many people (especially those Apple haters) still believe Apple product owners were very rich, and would pay any price (ridiculous price) for anything just with an Apple logo on it.

eBay is insane in just about every way, but the pricing is whatever happens on any given day, not what anyone thinks it ought to be.

People ask . . . people buy . . . or not . . . that's how markets work . . . real prices get set on a per deal basis, just like Wall Street, all else is wishful thinking.

I wish I could afford to buy more . . . but I already feel a bit like Smaug. }:)
