Just bought another gigabit g4 off ebay just for the hell of it. actually its going to replace my current backup machines( yikes g4). its a 500mhz dual/512mb ram/2x 36gb untra wide scsi drives/dvd-ram drive/ati rage agp card. I plan on putting 1.5 gb in it and a 120gb ide drive. not sure what im gonna do w/ the 2 scsi drives yet

Im having a hard time making a choice on what to do with this machine. well for starters it came with dual 36gb ultra wide 10,000rmp drives. and i have a 40gb and a 120 gb ide drives from my yikes to put in it as well. not what sure which drives to put in it

RAID those puppies. Use the 120 GB as your backup drive or something in case one of the SCSIs crash. That would be a sweet setup. I have 2x80 GB RAID in my G5 and it helps a lot with hard drive throughput. For backup I've got a cheap 160 GB Firewire drive.
