Another Conquest g4's and such

Well called up my buddy who is the manager of a local mac repair shop. he told me he would trade me 1 yikes g4 (missing hd/memory), a powermac g4 gigabit w/ no pwr supply(possible bad motherboard) and a powerbook 5300 greyscale. picking it up tonight

yeah not too bad of a deal. im planning on getting the sawtooth up and running and then using it for my backup/downloading machine. it will be replacing my current yikes g4.

no. the yikes and the 5300 were both my friends personal machines. the gigabit g4 was a customer machine

no the 5300 is a very basic stock unit. 8mb ram/greyscale screen/loaded with mac os 7.5.5 . machine however is in like mint condtion, looks like new. inside the laptop case i found an older repair sheet from 2000 that says it had some of the case plastics and keyboard replaced.

lol....well this guy, he and i trade mac stuff all the time. both vintage and newer. its a good deal really.
