I liberated a Quadra475 for 90€ incl shipping in Germany yesterday. Got it on Ebay:

The seller says it looks clean from the inside, but doesn't do anything when turned on. I guess caps have leaked on the logic board and PSU, as is tradition. I'll deliver pics as soon as it's here.

Maybe a bit pricey, but why not.

Still one of my favourite Macs. Compact, powerful enough for most of the things you could do with System 7 on a 68K, and they can be overclocked easily.

Hope you can get it going again. Even if the PSU is a corroded mess as they often are, replacements can be built with a Meanwell power supply instead.

Got the 475, it looks good:

I didn't see any problems with the caps on the logic board so far. But obviously they will get replaced anyway:

The battery was fine, it expired 21 years ago. It's a brsnd i never saw before, "Hawker Eternacell", likely an aftermarket replacement. There are 1.2V left in the cell ;-)

The CPU, sadly, is the LC variant, it has no floating point unit:

The HDD is 160MB, i have a RaSCSI and a bunch of replacement HDDs, should it turn out to be broken.
VRAM is 2x 512kb, which is not bad. It appears the RAM is 32MB, not bad either.

I didn't have the stomach to open the PSU yet.;)
