Question about ADC CRT Studio Display

I’ve been offered a free CRT Studio Display (the type with an ADC plug) which would fit really nice with my graphite PMG4. Just one catch - someone’s snipped the non-removable ADC cable.

So, I have a really beat up LCD ADC Studio Display with a broken stand and some water damage on the panel, but I know the cable’s good. Could I take both monitors apart and swap the cable or is the internal connector different?

If it is different, is there any place I could source a replacement?

Thanks,

Thanks for the link! I had a look through it and it appears the cable is proprietary to this specific monitor - what are the chances of finding a non-cut replacement?

So it is not the same as the LCD one I take it? I did not see that you had an LCD: I thought it was two of the same monitors.

From the service source it appears the cable branches off internally into several smaller connectors internally - I’d assume said connectors would be much different from a CRT to an LCD unfortunately.

Thanks for that link - I looked up the video cable part number listed in the LCD service source and I don't see any indication of it working in the CRT as well. Problem is the CRT service source doesn't list the part number for its cable, and I haven't been able to find it anywhere else - I saw theBookyard sells LCD cables for the LCD models but not the CRT models... Maybe if I had the part number I could find someone selling a cable, but without that number I'm pretty much stuck.
