PowerBook 190 with "burned screen"

Hi mates,

I rebooted my 190 that wast PERFEC after about 2 years ago, this is what I see now.
The LCD screen works but maybe the polarised film is ruined.
It was left with the transformer (OFF and disconnected) on top, weird that it's the culprit, but otherwise I can not tell what else.
Is there a path to some this problem besides replacing the whole screen?
I'll let it ON for the night to see if it improves, but I do not have much hope.

It likely happened on its own, this is starting to become extremely common. I’m worried about my PowerBooks honestly. Yes, the polarizer film is ruined. You can replace it, but it’s a difficult process. Vinegar syndrome stinks (literally).
