Get The Picture?

Given some last minute bidding craftiness (and a load of people not understanding eBay bidding properly) I landed a QuickTake 100 last night for a measly £5.51.

Of course the real shame is that even my mobile phone has a much higher pixel count than this little beauty...then again, that's what 13 years of progress gets you ;)

oooh very nice. my dad had one of those, absolutely blew my mind that a camera did not need film. the picture quality was...bad. but very cool nonetheless.

Haha, yep, back in grade 6, my school actually had a QuickTake 150, which we could borrow from the library to take on field trips or sporting days and the like. Seemed so awesome at the time, despite the fact that like you say, the image quality was....bad, and that it could only hold something like 16 photos.

Blast - I forgot about that auction! Maybe just as well, I can barely move here for the mass of eBay bits I've bought recently. ;)
