nice. You can run those things off regular 9 volt batteries, which tends to make them a bit more portable. Just snap off the port block, and there you go.

Also, nice to see it comes with the case. Most times they don't. I have always wanted one.

Well, it got here! and its alive! I walked all day with it in my hand at school and everybody asked me about it!

 
lol, actually some of my female friends were asking me about it. of course, everyone thought it was a calculator, but what I don't get is, where are the + and - and = keys? Makes me wonder, could someone write an app for it to make it a calc?

Its a diagnostics device that Apple made for service centres in the early 1990's, for diagnosing faults on Macs from the Mac Plus up until about the LCIII.

I do have a personal mainframe. Actually I have 2, but I really only use one of them. As for the second part, I wouldn't know about that. Thats not my bag baby. ;)
