Mac SE on eBay

Hey...

If a Mac SE shows his Happy Mac and switches then to the blinking question symbol, this just means 'No System' right? Could one suspect him the function otherwise normal (besides that his disk drives may not function)?

If I'm correct, that means there is a System, but it is damaged/corrupted.

Just the software is at fault. The SE itself is most likely fine.
