Anybody overclock a Classic?

A cursory search didn't turn up any threads, and overclock.net suggests it can't be overclocked (or at least "clock chipped"). Just wondering if that's more likely to be due to a limitation of the CPU or a support chip unable to handle the speed, or if it's because the base timing can't be modified without breaking things (normally video and I/O can have problems here).

Mostly I'm curious because I have a Classic that was severely battery bombed and so needs a reproduction logic board, which means I have to do some soldering and replace a lot of components anyway. Years ago I had to decommission some IT equipment and harvested some 10MHz 68000 chips in the process. It would be fun to install one of those in place of the original 8MHz chip and clock it accordingly.
