ZTerm Data Rate Errors

Hi,

I have a Macintosh Classic II connected with a Keyspan USB to Serial adapter to a Raspberry Pi running Basilisk II. I have ZTerm running on both of the machines, and am just trying out some communication stuff.

I found that when the data rate (under Settings->Connection) is set to 300, 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400 or 57600 on both machines sending data is no problem.

But if I set it to 14400 or 28800, I can only receive gibberish.

Does anyone know why?

You have other other options on or off - Parity, Even/Odd bit, Asynchronous/Synchronous...?

All the settings are the same on both machines. As I said, it works perfectly for some data rates, and doesn't for others, leading me to think that the other settings are correct.

I'll try and upload some screenshots today.

Frankly if you can do 57600 I wouldn't care about those two speeds as it's essentially double the rate of your "buggy" 28800.
