Afternoon folks
Has anyone ever seen a Workstation / Portrait card with the third clock footprint / socket populated? Do you have a photo?
What ROM version is fitted?
I have a Portrait version and a TPD version and have been testing to see if they'll do 640*480 if I add a 30.24MHz clock to the third location.
the answer is sadly "no" so far. Is there a ROM that works with more resolutions? Why is the third socket even there? The socket itself was even already fitted on one of my cards, suggesting Apple expected it might be used.
