So I got a great deal on a Wallstreet, but the screen has these weird comb-shaped white areas that point to the left on it. They are vertical.
And the screen is pinkish at boot-up, then turns normal.
Someone suggested that the machine has a bad video data cable and even though the cable is cheap, it takes someone pretty fearless to go in there and change the cable out.
Can anyone offer advice? I don't know of a good Mac mechanic in my neighborhood. The machine came with loads of goodies, so I could probably piece it out and get my money back, but the Wallstreet is such a sweet machine that I'd like to fix it.
Thanks for any sage advice,
