I am just wondering what format I can use? I have tried Jpeg at different resolutions but the 'desktop pictures' just says 'this picture cannot be displayed. Are there certain guidelines? Thanks
Are you using a newer machine with newer software to create the JPEG? I'm thinking maybe newer software might be using a newer implementation of JPEG that Desktop Pictures doesn't understand.
Also make sure the JPEG is RGB, not CMYK. I've had that where Photoshop will let me save a JPEG as CMYK but then other software have problems understanding it.
Cheers guys, yeah it was 'too new'. I managed to open the file with GraphicConverter and then save as a Quicktime encoded Jpeg. This worked great. Thanks for the input.
