Computers:
Software... a massive collection of disks, I've finally finished imaging them all, and will post a list on my blog.
Vintage Expansion:
Modern Expansion
I'm finally getting things set up again after several years in storage during a reno, move, reno session for the last almost 2 years.
Realized how much I figure out, forgot, and am figuring out again. Plan to post some guides as I rediscover tricks setting things up again on my personal site www.savagetaylor.com
- Color Classic: max memory, max vram. Starting to have issues, need to get it recapped.
- Macintosh LC III: max memory, need to upgrade vram. No issues so far, but ditto, need to recap. This is the primary computer at the moment.
- Macintosh SE: 2.5 MB memory + an odd expansion card called Memory Plus SE Interface REV A (with an external 9 pin port... mouse?) Weird issue, tried to upgrade to 4MB ram, get vertical black lines on the screen. It's the resister version of the board, the the resistor was already removed for the 2.5MB upgrade, and according to the apple memory guide should be good to go... All 4 1MB SIMS tested with no issues (by putting them each in the first bank with the 256KB SIMS in the 2nd), only get the issue with all 4 installed. I don't think this has the capacitor issues the other computers have?
- Macintosh IIx
- Apple IIe
Software... a massive collection of disks, I've finally finished imaging them all, and will post a list on my blog.
Vintage Expansion:
- Two Apple IIe cards, one in the Color Classic, one in the LCIII
- Two Apple II floppy drivers
- One Apple II joystick
- Three Macintosh II "Toby" graphics cards
- One Anante Desktop EC/SC adaptor, SCSI to Ethernet (used mainly with the LCIII at the moment), with box, manual, disk and SCSI cable. Must be a newer version, it doesn't require external power, just draws what it needs from the SCSI chain.
- SCSI 100MB ZIP drive (also have a 250MB USB, used to sneaker net between windows and mac before I got the SCSI to Ethernet working)
- 3 Keyboards, and 3 Mice
- One Apple CD SC drive with Manual
- NEC 3X SCSI CD drive
- DaynaFile SCSI floppy drive, with a 360KB drive. Missing the power adapter :-( , did track down the drivers. If I can every find an adapter I'll play.
- MacRecorder with Mic.
- A bunch of 1MB and 256KB SIMS
- A box of Apple Talk cables... Enough for about 20 computers
- A box of SCSI cables, mainly SCSI 1, but some SCSI 2 and 3.
- Three M0100 Mice with the 9 pin port.
Modern Expansion
- Two SCSI2SD. One is replacing the LCIII HD that died, and one for the Macintosh IIx, the 320gig in the Color Classic still works, and I use the zip-drive to boot the SE.
- One Floppy EMU from https://www.bigmessowires.com/shop/
