I don’t believe that anything in that era/design was MultiSync.
I wonder if the output from the MacMini G4, which can have a max resolution of 1920, would display on a 640x480 screen? I don't imagine many people ran OS9 at 640x480.

For the keyboard I have a crazy idea that might just work.
  1. I have a cracked Apple IIGS ADB Keyboard.
  2. I'm also signed up for the MacEffects Apple Iic black case. It has black keycaps.
  3. I can spray paint the keyboard using this paint which is a perfect match for the black MacTV!
  4. So I'd have a black ABD keyboard with the period correct letters.

Oh yeah, superb!

Well, anyone with a stock 6100 (standard resolution = 640x480) who ran Mac OS 9 (a very patient person), might well have done ;-) ! I don't think it would be too bad, because the sizes of all the elements on Mac OS 9.x aren't too different to Mac OS 8.x and System 7.x. But it does inspire me to have a go at running Mac OS 9 on my iMac G3 DV at that resolution just to see! And to see if I can run Mac OS X 10.2 or 10.3 at that resolution too :) !

No it’s true, probably wouldn’t. My best suggestion is to do one of the LCD mods that people here do and get one of those monitors that’s very orange anyhows and go the spray paint route.

By the way…where is this MacEffects IIc black case?
