PowerBook 180/180c daughtercard compatibility with motherboard

I have a PowerBook 180c daughtercard that I want to use with a motherboard that came with a 180. I see that the m/bd has the same p/n so I assumed this would be fine. But on closer inspection, I see this:

Compare to 180c version found on the web:

Has anyone tried interchanging these?

This may not be relevant, but I have swapped the CPU cards on my 170/145B/140 all around and they have all worked with each others CPU cards and RAM. I have been running the 145B with a 170 CPU card for almost a year at this point without issue. I don't remember anything like that indicating a difference in boards however...

The 140/145/145B/170 all use the same motherboard so that's why that works. I don't know as much about the color vs. grayscale 2nd gen models, but if Apple called out that they were different, I'd expect them to actually be.
