Pismo G4 Upgrade & Leopard

Anybody running a Pismo with a G4 Upgrade? I'm thinking about upgrading to Leopard to use mine as network backup Mac, but I've heard that Time Machine requires Core graphics and will backup, but does not otherwise work properly.

I tried Time Machine on a non core graphics card once. Don't do it, its so slow.
All the Mac would do is sit there and backup. It's so slow now running OS X 10.3.9 that it's already painfully unusable. With that in mind, my main concern is that the backups would take place and that I could restore an entire volume if the hard disk would fail. I'm not really interested in using the interface that lets you retrieve a single document using coverflow technology.

I meant the file retrieval space world part of the Time Machine. Everything else is fine.

you need the server verson to do that, not the client, but for 10.5 server is hard to find,I would just get a cheap mini g4 or intell and slap on 10.5 server or get a intell mini and put 10.6 server that like 500$ for 10 clinent i think
