My own IIcx Logic Board

Got my IIcx board back with 8 new SIMM slots, now socketed CPU, and new caps. Awesome!

Shout out to mcdermd for doing a kickass job! ;)

I have the Daystar Powercache adapter for the IIcx that plugs into the CPU socket, as soon as I find a Powercache I'm going to try out this rarity.

Side note, I have 6 Apple branded 1mb ram simms for this system, I'd like to find another 2 to have 8 matching Apple simms, does anyone have 2 for sale/trade?

wow that is really great, did you get the socket and ram slots from a parts se/30 board?

was the socketed cache made for the IIcx or was it designed for the se/30?

it would be nice to know if it works out for you!!

The socket was from the Daystar Adapter kit, they included it because some IIcx's were not socketed.

Half of the simm slots came from a Performa 600, the other half from another parts board.

I just have the powercache adapter that it meant to adapt a universal powercache card specifically to a IIcx by using the CPU socket.
