I got an SE/30 a little bit ago and got an ethernet pocket SCSI connector with it. I'm pretty sure I got it working but I need an internet browser. Does anyone have one? I'm running System 7.0.1
The file on Mac GUI is a Binhex encoded StuffIt archive. The StuffIt archive extracts to 1.8 MB of files in a folder. There's a 720K application for M68K and a 820K PPC application. How are you transferring files to your Mac SE/30?MacLynx
I'm using HFVExplorer and WinImage. But I have a MBP if there's any mac programs for formatting/writing/reading in Macintosh formatHow are you transferring files to your Mac SE/30?
What's your set-up? Someone here recommended using an N300 (Netgear?) WiFi extender, and it works like a charm. You plug it into your outlet, configure it with the credentials to your WiFi network and connect it to your Mac via the built-in ethernet port. I never got Open Transport and DHCP to work, but you don't need to. I just grab a static IP address.I want to get my se/30 networked and online but not managed it yet.
