It was a bit of a drive to pick up the machine, but thanks to @volvo242gt for letting me know about this machine's existence. Had been looking on and off for an SE/30 and I figured it was time to take the plunge... and I figured $125 wasn't a bad price (whether or not the logic board was toast) From what I can see its mostly original; from what I can tell the caps haven't done much leaking and I was able to get it to boot off the BlueSCSI first try. There was no startup sound so I'm assuming it may be cap related. Since my own soldering skills are to be desired, I will be looking for somebody local who can do the job for me.
It appears this machine was taken better care of than the two SEs I picked up a while back. I think instead of being housed in a barn, it was stowed away in a closet of some kind. Nonetheless, this machine has much less yellowing than the SEs, but the Apple logo is faded and there are some scuff marks and such... seems normal for those who aren't collectors.
