LC580--->PM 5500?

I am wondering. You can put a 6200 motherboard into an LC 580. You can also put a 6360/6400/6500 motherboard into a 6200/6300 IF you also change the power supply. It then follows that you can also put a 6360/6400/5500 motherboard into an LC 580 IF you also change the power supply. Has anyone actually done this?

Hmmm...it is surprising that he doesn't mention changing the power supply. The PCI motherboards draw more power than Nubus ones so I wouldn't think an LC power supply would work since all the PPC Nubus-->PPC PCI swaps I have seen REQUIRE the changing of the power supply. Maybe the LC AIO power supplies are rated higher because they also have to power a monitor?
