My latest are a Powerbook 160 from a friend and an eMate.
The 160 had a broken trackball and a dead HD. As I had recently acquired a PB 145 with a screen that I could not fix, I decided to use it for parts for the 160. The latter now putters along nicely, while the former has gone to its eternal reward.
As for the other conquest, I have a Newton 2000/ 2001 which I have used daily since 1997. I'd never seen an eMate face to face, and then on Friday one of my students brought one in to show me. They really are little beauties. So, home I went and forked out some auction money that same day on an 'as new' model. I should have it in a few days.
Anyone have one of those old Newertech dram/ram expansion cards for the eMate for cash or trade?
