Hi all,
I resqued this Lapis ProColorServer for SE/30, pics attached, I see on the board there is space for a secondary display,... really, may be this board can support 2 displays adding the missing components ?
Ideas?

Thank you
Amedeo

I don't know if it would support dual outputs. My guess, based on other missing components, is that it's just a different location for a different style header; they simply used the same motherboard for different versions of the card based on what components they installed. Save themselves some money.

Would the bus be able to handle 3 monitors or 2 monitors with large displays? I'm not so sure.
I had a 1600x1200 at 256 colours monitor running off a Thunder/24 on my IIfx and screen refreshes were very slow (10-20s).
Although the IIfx is fast, I was simply asking too much of it.

Late reply, but given I came across this looking for ProColorServer info (might have gotten myself a nice little SE/30 PDS card!), I can state that, no, it's not a secondary output. The red connector is for a VGA breakout port that would come with the card, the unpopulated 16 pin header is for a DB-15 breakout. They carry the same RGB signals and are thus the same output, just for different connector types.
