iMac G5 - Why wont it still boot?!

So, I got this about a year ago for a steal - $125 with box and a pro keyboard. Anyway, when I got it, of course, it would not boot. I then read about the whole bad capacitor thing. So, I disassembled it, inspected the motherboard, and could not find one single capacitor on the motherboard that was leaking or indeed even bulging. I then went ahead and took apart the power supply, and bingo, at least 2-3 leaked caps. I was in a school at the time which had a electronics program (and I was not a part of it), and had a very good friend recap the power supply. That was done, and it looks good as new. However, my humble iMac still won't boot. the only difference being, when you plug it in, the first LED lights up, which it did not before, and when I push the power button on the inside, the fan starts spinning, the white LED on the front comes on and the second LED comes on for a half second, then they all shut off, and subsequent power button presses only get the second LED to come on momentarily. I swear, the motherboard looks perfect, so I don't know what else needs to be done.

It;s a 1.8ghz G5 ALS model, no HD, 512mb of RAM, combo drive.

any ideas?
