I went down to see some relatives and my cousin said he got a PC from school and didn't know what to do with it... So he gave it to me!

It is in good shape, quiet, clean and specs are not too bad!

1.8 GHz P4

38 GB Hard Drive

512 MB RAM

64 MB AGP Graphics card

I am installing XP pro as I type. I have a 2.6 GHz P4 that I'm going to put in. This is going to be a game server (Garry's Mod and TeeWorlds) as well as a file server if there is space left over. I might turn this into a media center if I need to, Just need to find a VGA-Composite adapter.

I love IBM gear.

Those netvista machines are great XP boxes and will even run Vista and Linux pretty nicely as well.

Enjoy.

I just discovered something interesting... There is a lever that allows me to remove the PCI/AGP cards without screws! Nice!

yeah. is it blue? it's kind of a thing that fits between the door plate and folds down over the PCI slots to lock them in place (well, loosely) so it's pretty handy. Problem is, half the time I forget to put it into the machine :-/

yeah, i have / have had several of these in the 6xxx series. nice little boxes, and the screw-less upgrades are awesome. as is the blue thing sticking out the back that pops off the front cover.
