G5 Dual 2.5

Haven't had time to mess with the G5 yet.

I looked in the same dumpster this morning and pulled out three iMacs (2x 233MHz Rev A's and one 333MHz Lime) and a B&W G3. There is a B&W CRT monitor and an old Apple laser printer in there right now too but I didn't feel like digging any more.

That dumpster is a gold mine! You've gotta find out who's tossing that stuff in there and give them your phone number! That'll save you from having to climb in after them!

No kidding! I have found a million other things in there too.

So the Lime iMac works great and in physically great condition. One of the Bondi ones had a bad power supply and won't turn on, so it donated some case plastic to the other one, which works well except for a slightly blurry screen. I adjusted it as best I could and it's tolerable now. All three have 256MB RAM. The G3 has a broken handle and would not turn on at first, but after trying another power supply which did not work either, it mysteriously boots and works OK.

I am keeping the lime iMac and probably putting the rest on craigslist or something. A guy can only have so many G3 based machines.
