Hello, i was considering posting this in trading post but, i figured it would be good general info incase a googler comes across this thread.

I happen to have a IIcx that needs a set of 4 of the rubber feets,

did some google searches, didn't find anything.

If you buy the square ones they look more like the OEM deal and the thickness is about right.

If you sculpt them into rectangles they won't be the right size and they'll be beveled, but they'll look more stock . . .

. . . and then there's always the high heeled, platform feets option . . . }:)

Not a jt exclusive, innovation maybe. They practical feetsware, allowing MiniFeetsMacs to survive running on a carpeted surface. They're open toe source, production documention and everything!

If you want to do it for the looks alone, it'd be/look better to use a much thinner "platform" to tie the feets together and then add the rubber pads. I used a one piece 3/4" MDF Platform with 3/4" MDF laminates (I had a lot of MDF scrap and cutoffs lying around) for the feets' "risers" for simplicity. They're meant to hold the Q700s on their "platforms" and the radius of the semicircular portion/width of their "tombstone" cross-section was determined by size of the holes I needed to tap for the 3/8" Hex Bolts selected for the leveling heels.
They be sawdust!
