The title says it all - I am looking for a picture of an apple 7MB RAM card for the Macintosh Portable (Backlit). Fairly good resolution with pictures of both sides would be nice.
Thanks for including those pictures - those use the same memory chips as the 1MB & 3MB cards - very interesting that these show up as the only chips for this. I am finally getting back to this project and I am still curious about whether there was ever a 7MB card with a denser chip configuration.
One of my 1MB cards seems to have gotten damaged (not sure how, but the VLSI chip has corrosion on about a 1/3 of the pins and it looks like it extends into the chip) and when plugged into the Mac Portable displays a sad mac and terrible chimes... the error codes change from time to time when it is booted with the bad card.
here is one

From the sad mac page (' ...This may indicate either a bad RAM chip or data bus failure.') - not a surprise. I am hoping that the memory chips are still good and that I can perhaps use them on another card that is good.
I have the single card. I have been tied up with family affairs. I will try and get some photos of memory control panel and the card so you know it's actual.
here is both side of the single 7 megabyte card. My satellite is acting funky or I would have uploaded it. Anyone else is more than welcome to copy and paste to hear if they want.
