Powerbook G4, 15", 1.67 gHz. 1.5 GB ram, 100 GB hard drive. Model 1138 http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/powerbook_g4/stats/powerbook_g4_1.67_15_hr.html
An old coworker gave it to me because he wasn't using it anymore. It was the last of the G4s before the switch to Intel. He bought an Intel MacBook Pro with SSD last year and hasn't touched it in a while. Where I like value priced electronics he is very much bleeding edge. He does use the machines for a long time before replacing them but he gets the best of the best at the time of purchase. It's in great shape, fresh install and perfect cosmetic condition. It's my fastest PPC machine and only computer with Firewire 800 and bluetooth.
The only problem being the PRAM battery is dead and the main battery doesn't charge. I think they are related. After a few days of searching no local mac dealers have the PRAM battery and the cheapest person online sells it online for $80 not including shipping.
If anyone can think of a can think of a battery solution I would be glad to hear it! The part # is 922-7173
