I'm not "like" anything. I just continually watch you stan for certain brands... as if people owe your favorites patronage.

Relax, buddy.

Remember when you used your YouTuber status to get a reviewer's discount on a MacSD, then failed to deliver a video review?

Remember when you later gave away that MacSD as a prize on your way to a thousand subscribers? I do.

Maybe don't throw stones around here.

I’m not here, after having survived a close shave with death due to first time Covid infection to watch you two do this. However; while Cheesestraws has always, and I mean it, contributed with hundreds of interesting and helpful posts, I have only seen you, Tarantula, ask a few random questions and then seemingly stalk cheesestraws whenever he speaks out about Bluescsi. I may be wrong so I apologize if that is the case but…. There have been heated exchanges here, fire hot debates, and banned people - for the weirdest of issues, however none involved Mr. Eric or BlueScsi….. in none of these instances I recall you speaking out in those occasions.

I'm just describing exactly what you're attempting to do... silence this poster because he didn't post exactly the way you wanted him to.

So, rather than stan for other brands, put your money where your mouth is and send OP the tracking info.

If I were to search your public posts across the various forums and groups on social media, would I find that you were really interested in fair representation, or that you're just a sycophant with an ax to grind?

"I am actually a nobody."

Then do EVERYBODY a favor and stop trying to disguise your naked fawning sycophancy for objectiveness.

If OP owns those two devices and wanted to benchmark and post, LET THEM. Think they need to test more stuff, then GET OUT YOUR WALLET and buy them that stuff.

Otherwise...

Think people should test and own other things? Then get out your wallet, and buy them those things. Otherwise, say nothing.

Because...

...is tired of watching you engage in this exact behavior over and over while claiming you don't know that you're doing it.

If you honestly don't know that you're doing it, here's your official notice: Stop.

Not obsessed, just kindly letting you know what people that don't live inside fromagepaille's head are forced to contend with as long as you continue to force your opinions on the community.

Other people are perfectly capable of posting on this site without having to pass it by the "fromagepaille fairness filter." And it's possible for them to do so without your naked sycophancy trying to shut down any conversation that doesn't meet your expectations.

I know. And it's gotten SO OLD to hear over and over about how they live rent free in your head. Just let it go, because I promise that they don't waste a second of their day worried about this battle you're trying to wage.

They're out doing stuff. Why aren't you?

Why report a single post? This is an amazing opportunity for personal growth and making a huge breakthrough in the way you think about things.

If anything, this is hopefully therapeutic.

I stand corrected, I found a couple other locked threads where you went after specific members of this forum, that also appear in this one.

From memory, I only agreed to do a written review of the device on the Tendie store. I gave it a glowing review, and I stand by it. It has some very unique features that currently no other drive emulator is capable of. The ability to listen to Red Book audio while playing one of the games that support it is still a great innovation.

And if I paid for the device, why would I not be free to do with it as I wished by way of promoting MacSD as a product? That only seems to build good community will for MacSD.

If you're upset about this, I'll gladly send you the price difference if it helps settle any ill-will you have about the situation. I was not unaware that you were upset, and I am truly sorry.

Reasons.

As @Compgeke said, I do think it would be interesting to see more benchmarks of all the competing SCSI solutions, including the very expensive industrial ones. I do wonder if those solutions perform meaningfully better; are you getting anything for your money other than a service contract?

(I also think it's both fine to post whatever benchmarks you like and Fine to point out that those benchmark suites are incomplete. As the ZuluSCSI vs BlueSCSI v2 debates have tended to get into flame war territory, I do think it’s less fine to hop into a thread that had already resolved itself away from that in the hopes of starting one, especially when a moderator already intervened before your arrival.)

I really don’t get any of this. @cheesestraws is a very fine member of the community that I’ve known in various capacities over a few years now. He saw something somewhat suspect and he called it out. Where the massive spew of vitriol came from thereafter, I don’t know.

I don't see every thread. And much of my past involvement with the site is lost to one of the many wipes that have occurred over the years.

I'm happy to defend anyone who is repeatedly unreasonably maligned. It just seems (by his own admission) that CS has it in for people who've actually been very nice to me over the years. I can't say the same about the folks whom CS overtly stans for.

Would you like me to post screenshots?

It's been a long time, and I don't remember all the details. If I am in the wrong, I am in the wrong, and I unreservedly apologize.

What will it take to make things right for you?

Had a chance to read through a few times.

Thank you to everybody who was able to provide useful, good information to this thread without attacking anybody.

There's a line between a criticism that's still phrased reasonably (imagine your team at work is working on a problem and someone suggests an idea you think won't work) and a page or so of just attacks and accusations.

We're all adults and should know the difference, and should know what's expected of us in an online hobby space.
