Picked up some Apple II -5.25" disks from the guy i bought the Apple //c earlier this year (with monitor and printer among other things). He said he'd have "big bag of software disks" but he didn't find those from his garage. He called few days ago that he had found another stash of his and asked me if i wanted the software. Picked these up last weekend. He is quite confident he can find the bigger bag of disks. He's some kind of antique-dealer or something with large storage space.
Got also for free, an big bag of Spectravideo 318 / 328 software tapes (with packages) and all kinds of user manuals and basic programming books. Will give those a colleque at work who collect these things. Funniest thing was, when i was checking the software boxes, one box had somebody's English test school paper inside (with poor results i might add :O ) from mid 1980's!
As well he offered an old 80's PC by Nokia (MikroMikko-brand). Will pick that up later, for a another colleque. If had the space, i'd keep this. Worked a few weeks at Nokia Data back in 1991 before it was sold to ICL in England. My father worked for Nokia from about 1960 to 1992 or so.
Haven't yet had time to check the content nor if they still even work. However they are very clean and storaged nicely without bends, dents or dirt.
The disks:
ProDOS User's Disk 1.0
MousePaint
System Utilities ( //c )
Getting down to Basic ( //c )
Apple Access II
Apple Works
Captain Goodnight (Broderbund)
The Print Shop - Color (Broderbund)
The Print Shop - Companion (Broderbund)
Dazzle Draw (Broderbund)
Disk Editor 1.0
Ballblazer
Apple Swap Disks Vol.1-20 (some volumes missing - wonder what these are?)
Never get bored with that large six-colored logo on the disk label!
