I bought a IIci sort of on impulse recently. I managed to get the machine and a monitor for just under $70 shipped (more than half was the shipping cost). The original reason I bid on the auction was to get the DayStar Universal 50MHz PowerCache card that came with it.
It arrived today, and the box had some extra goodies in it. I'm still trying to identify some of the stuff, so any input is appreciated!
DayStar Digital 040 Turbo with a Motorola 40MHz 68040. CPU p/n is XC68040RC40M:
DayStar Digital P33 50MHz Universal PowerCache with a Motorola 50MHz 68030. Includes a 68882 FPU. CPU p/n is MC68030RC50B:
VLSI FPU and a Motorola 68020, which I think came from a Macintosh II:
DayStar socketed adapter that I believe is to enable using a PDS PowerCache card in a Macintosh II:
Also included was a IIci 32kb cache card, but from my preliminary research, it sounds like the 040 Turbo card is a much better use of the PDS slot. The IIci has a NuBus Apple Display Card 8-24 installed, too.
I'm waiting on the monitor to ship, so as of now I can't try either PowerCache card to find out if they work. I'd like to get one working in my SE/30, but it sounds like that'll be a challenge unless I can get ahold of one of the DayStar adapters for it...
