Apple Widget Drive

Anybody got some detailed information on the Widget drive?

There's very little on the internet about it. Plenty on the Twiggy Drive and the Profile, but the Widget, Apple's only designed and manufactured drive which seems to have been far more reliable than their only floppy disk and actually survived twice as long, seems to be very poorly documented.

Someone already collected enough information to set up a recent IDE harddisk drive to make up to 32 MB of disk space available for the Lisa. Flash memory is also supported. The author states a lack of information on the Widget drives, however. Follow the link as provided in our wiki :)

This is what I know:

-The widget was the 10MB internal drive in Lisa 2s and Mac XLs.

-You are going to have a tough time searching for it on the web because "Apple" and "widget" will probably bring you hundreds of results for dashboard applications.
