A Bunch of Mac Stuff

Friday: A Power Mac 6500/250 with an Apple Multiple Scan 15AV Display. When I powered it on, I was surprised to find out that it had a Sonnet Crescendo G3 upgrade (Which makes it 300 MHz). It also has 128 mb of Ram (Max) and 3 (Count em'!) Internal Hard Drives. Also included was two video (Composite/S/RD In and out) cards as well as an Ethernet and Firewire card. Overall, this machine was well taken care of. I wish I could say the same thing about the monitor as I like the design of it. Not only is the plastic brittle, but the front of it is very scratched (Both the plastic and the glass). It was probably stored screen down. What a shame. But anyways, there was also an Apple Design Keyboard, Busmouse II, Apple 600e Drive, External Micronet HD, Color Stylewriter 1500 and most of the cables needed to run everything at the same time.

Total Price: $40.

Saturday: I went to go pick up a IIci, but the owner threw in a bunch of free stuff as well. Included was a Huge B/W monitor with a VGA nubus card and the video cable (Which uses a weird VGA to Video/Vert/Horiz cable), an HP printer with Power Supply and Head Cleaning Kit, an Apple Scanner with Power Supply and SCSI cables, an Apple Design Keyboard, Busmouse II, Global Village Teleport Modem with Power Supply, Supra V.32bis Modem and a Powerbook Lombard "Skeleton" (It was missing the Battery, Optical Drive and HD).

Total Price: $10.

Later, I picked up the stuff that I needed for the Lombard (Battery, DVD-ROM and 4 GB HD). I also picked up a copy of 10.3 since the HD was wiped.

Total Price: $50 (Plus Tax)

Grand Total: About $100.

Pretty neat catch!

Those crescendo cards are pretty neat, I wish they made one for the duos. Is the 600e the external version?

@theos911: Yes! I am glad that I got it since I can now use it to install CD stuff on to computers that don't have one.
/Jealous

I've been in the market for one of those for a while. The cheapest I have seen was abut 45$ and the worst was near 200$ (/insane)
