Picking these up tonight locally. Both have G3 upgrades, and the 8500's original CPU is included, along with spare logic boards for each machine.

Haven't checked the 8500 yet. The 9500 has:

XLR8 ZIF carrier, 333 mhz ZIF overclocked to 367.5 MHz

512 MB of RAM

Sonnet Tempo ATA/133 IDE card with Apple 24x CDROM, 4.3 GB Fujitsu IDE HD

ATI video card (the original for a 9500)

Got the 9500 up fully now. I clocked the G3 back down to 333 (just to be safe). Its running 9.0.4 now, with a 10 GB Seagate IDE drive. Works great, very very fast.

Nice score on the 9500, especially with the ZIF carrier, the 512MB of RAM and the ATA card! :)

8500's got a 266 NewerTech G3 (shows as 195 MHz in 7.6, not sure what's up), 256 MB of RAM, and a 2 GB drive. I put 7.6 on it, runs great.

Put in the 500 G3 out of the 7600 today, the 9500 FLIES now. I put the 333 in the 8500. Have you ever seen 7.6.1 on a 333 G3? Its nuts. There's also 768 MB of RAM in the 9500 now. The 7600's Rage 128 is also in the 9500 now, which is great, as it just has VGA. The 8500 also has 4 MB of VRAM now, thanks to the 7600.

I kind of like the industrial nakedness of the first photo.

And Kensington Turbo Mouse for the win!!
