Just replaced my LC040 with a proper 68040 and, good grief, getting the 040 back in the socket was really difficult. Is it supposed to be that hard to set the CPU back in the socket? It's also not 100% flush with the socket (it's about half the thickness of a credit card between the bottom of the ceramic and the top of the socket), but it runs - is this normal, or should I try to get it the rest of the way in and flatten the ceramic against the socket? I just don't want to break either the CPU or the board.
