Yesterday I picked up a Dual USB 600MHz IceBook.
When I got home from talking with a client today, the LCD the Workgroup Server sent me is here waiting.
So the IceBook:
It came with a CD-ROM Drive and a 20GB HD but max RAM and an Airport card.
So I had an old 500MHz Icebook with a Combo Drive in it.
3 hours later I have the following:
A 600MHz PPC G3 12.1" Icebook
16MB ATI Mobility Radeon GPU --> Meets Quartz Extreme requirements, yay!
100GB 7200RPM HD
Combo Drive
I put the 500MHz unit back together it has a 50GB HD and a CD-ROM. The system locks up and someone ripped the trackpad connector off the mobo. I still have the trackpad connector. So I am assuming some CPU re-pasting and some SMT soldering and the unit will be good to go. Anyone wanna buy it? No airport, but LCD is nice and bright. The KB is missing the F2 key.
Runs 10.4 Nicely.

Man I've wanted one of these silver and white iBooks since they came out. I always thought they were great looking little units, and now I have one.
