I am getting ready to start my 2nd reloaded build, my donor is a working logic board that has developed bubbles under the solder mask on both sides of the board. The solder mask has completely come off of the ground plane on the top of the board at the back by the bracket.
For my first build I used a Mouser BOM from @croissantking that included replacements for many of the non-proprietary ICs. For this build I am trying to be frugal, but not at the expense of reliability. Are there ICs that I can safely reuse? Or am I just being cheap and need to replace all of them that are available?
What are people's thoughts on reusing back-panel connectors that are not corroded?
