SE/30 bad system installation

Hi,

I have an SE/30, for which I have reinstalled the OS on it. At least, I tried: the computer have some issues and when doing the 7.5.3 installation, it crashed at the end, so the system is corrupted.

Now, when I boot it, it no longer boot from the external HD, but from the internal one, as you may suspect, and crash. The floppy drive is half-dead, so I cannot boot from the floppy.

Any suggestion?

Thanks

Hold down Command, Shift, Option, and Delete as you boot. That should force it to boot to the external drive. If you have multiple external drives, do the same except additionally hold down the SCSI ID number of the drive you want to boot from.

Did not worked either, so I open it, and remove the internal HD cable, and change the startup disk, should boot correctly next time!

Now, while the case in open, I'm trying to find a bunch of memory I bought almost 2 years ago that were for this one, cannot figure out where I did put it! [:(!] !]'>
